Electronic locking system

The knob module is a universally applicable, battery-operated locking unit that is used here as follows:

In a profile cylinder with an electronic freely rotating knob on one side and a mechanically fixed rotary knob on the other side.

The communication electronics and the mechatronics are located in the knob module together with the batteries. In addition to the tried-and-tested radio version [868 MHz], the knob module is also available as a version with Bluetooth® Low Energy (2.4 GHz).

By installing the knob module using a Euro profile cylinder, conventional locks for DIN Euro profile can be used and no complex installation is required. This means that the double knob cylinder can be used cost-effectively for both new buildings and existing properties.

Blacklist function

The compact knob cylinder is a profile cylinder with an electronic, freely rotating knob.

All essential security-relevant components, such as the clutch, gear and motor, are located in the protected area of the cylinder. In addition to the proven radio version (868 MHz), the compact knob module is also available as a version with Bluetooth Low Energy (2.4 GHz).

The compact knob is particularly suitable for tubular frame doors, as it has a small electronic knob and therefore allows sufficient clearance for opening the door even with small backsets.

The VDS security version is also equipped with special anti-drilling mechanisms. This makes the compact knob particularly suitable for use in building connection doors or other doors that require a higher level of mechanical burglary protection.
